Board of Directors
Bruce Stewart
Bruce Stewart is CEO of the global Mobile & Digital division of kgb,
the world's largest independent provider of directory assistance and enhanced
information services. Previously, Bruce served as VP & GM
of the Connected Life Americas Division with Yahoo! where he managed Yahoo!’s
mobile, PC desktop, and its broadband business in the Americas. At Yahoo!,
Bruce was instrumental in driving the success of several of Yahoo!'s mobile initiatives
including mobile search, mobile applications and WAP, mail and mobile advertising.
His efforts included the expansion of Yahoo!'s strategic mobile partnerships
with leading companies such as ATT, T-mobile, Sprint, America Movil and Rogers
Wireless, as well as global relationships with Apple, RIM, LG, Samsung,
Motorola and Nokia. Bruce’s positions prior to joining Yahoo! include Senior
Vice President at America Online, working on the Netscape brand; Executive
Vice President for Europe and Asia operations with Exodus Communications, then
the world’s largest web hosting services company; and partner with InterMedia
Partners, an early leader in delivering digital entertainment, high speed internet
and advanced cable communications services.
Peter Kirsch
Pete has served as Chief of Staff for the Offices of James V. Kimsey, Founding CEO
and Chairman Emeritus of America Online, where he oversaw all operations, including
private investments, venture capital, diplomatic relations and international
philanthropy.His investments include technology, entertainment and
government services companies. Pete’s international work includes time
in Iraq and Bosnia where he advised the International Commission for Missing
Persons (ICMP) for the U.S. State Department. Previously, Pete was President
of Platformix, a Northern Virginia technology firm providing Web-based
applications. Prior
to Platformix, Pete was Chief Executive Officer of the American Society
of Landscape Architects, an association with more than 15,000 members.
He serves on the boards of several companies and charitable organizations,
including Adeptron, VideoNext and America's Promise, and he is Chairman
of the Board of Greater DC Cares. Pete is a graduate of Marquette University.
Daniel Moore
Dan is the Managing Partner of Longstreet Partners, a mid-market investment
and merchant banking firm. He has more than 25 years experience managing
private and public companies, arranging financing transactions and investing
in entrepreneurial businesses. Dan's experience includes co-founding
and managing the Washington D.C. region's first early stage venture capital
firm, Venture America. There he made very early investments in
start-up companies, several of which subsequently experienced dramatic
growth and financial success, including Discovery Communications. In
1999, Dan joined PriceInteractive as COO and played a key role in repositioning
and growing the business and leading the negotiation of its sale at a
valuation in excess of $100 million. Prior to that, Dan served
as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SSE Telecom, a publicly traded
satellite and earth station systems business. Dan is a graduate
of Lafayette University and has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
Daniel Price
Dan is the founder of Sweet Virginia, Northern Virginia's Charitable Honey
Cooperative. Previously, Dan co-founded PriceInteractive, where
he developed and managed significant commercial relationships with international
telecommunication carriers and Fortune 500 clients. PriceInteractive
was acquired in 2001 and now is the Voice Solutions business unit of Convergys
Corporation, an S&P 500 company. Dan also had a number of entrepreneurial
business experiences during his career, including working for a regional
investment banking firm. Dan graduated from the University of Maryland
and Harvard Business School and is a certified public accountant.
